- Maya Angelou
In Stockholm, I visited Skogskyrkogården a cemetery designed and built in the early 1900s and was anointed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994.
It was incredibly breathtaking. Beautiful, peaceful, really really really peaceful. I felt this inexplicable balance between death (it is a cemetery after all) and life - the unity of nature, people, buildings - it felt awakening.
So I walked around and sat around for a couple of hours.
I thought a lot about my family, my future and my life.
What do I want my narrative to be going forward?
My wonderful friend Loren sent me the poem below, which I sat and read and read and read as the sun started to go down, people started to head home, and silence descended upon me
